Looking for Title of Children's Safety Book from 1990's......series?

I had two safety books as a child that I loved and I think my mom got them from Scholastic. It taught basic safety for grade school kids (avoid strangers, don't play with fire, look both ways before crossing, etc). One was red and I think the other was light blue, but I can't remember. Mine were hardcover and approx 11" x 8" in size (like a sheet of paper). It was brightly colored and it had a boy and a girl in the demonstrations of each scene. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to gets these for my kids.

I think maybe you need to spray your room with a flea or bug killer, just to be safe. Fleas are so hard to get rid of once they are in your house. At any store they have different stuff that you can use safely with pets and that are decided to kill any bugs. Just make sure your new kitten is not in the room when you do use the product. If you think they are in your bed, use a powder then sweep it off. And it also wouldn't hurt to check your kitty cat again to make sure all his fleas are gone. Maybe give him a bath with a flea shampoo...they also have pills that are safe to take with front line that will kill all fleas and eggs on your kitty cats. good luck!

My son plays SAY basketball and he gets very competitive. Last week for a tournament he went back down to 11u (he's ten but normally he plays 13U) ANYWAYS he was scoring at will most of the first half but in the 4TH they started to face gaurd him and even ran a box and 1..so all he could do was pass. SO they end up losing by 7.. my son is crying so hard and I haven't seen him cry in years. My husband carried him out the gym it was very sad. Made me ask this question to myself. However at the same time I noticed how Everyone was trying to comfort my son. Even the opposing cheerleaders were saying "sweet its ok #10 atleast you're still cuter than them" etc. All his original 13u teammates were picking him up and hugging/comforting him. That made me think maybe it is good. Because it also teaches kids sportsmanship and how to confine in each other. anyone here disagree?

Throwing up after wisdom teeth removal?

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed today.. I was put under general anestesia and also had laughing gas. It has been about 12 hours since then and I've been having a lot of nausea. My question is in case I throw up how do I clean it up? The sheet of care I have says only to rinse on the 2nd day, but it also says I might throw up on the first? Has anybody else had to deal with this? I stopped taking my hydrocodone or whatever and my nausea seems to be getting better. Thanks

While racing I'll keep a bottle to pour on my self but the bottle is at air temp, never cold. I never pour water on my legs during a race and do it sparingly after wards. If you are on the verge of heat exhaustion then things change and you need to get off the bike in shade and cool down.

My mom keeps taking my black ops for no reason no matter what i do?

Ever since i got cod black ops, my mom has been taking for no reason. I never play it too much, only around an hour a day, 2 hours at most, yet she still takes it. There is nothing wrong with it. I am sure that their room is safe and I have yet to see a door that is sound proof from a childs cries. I honestly think it is safer then letting them wonder the house or even sneak out when you are busy doing something else. It is nearly impossible to watch a child every second of the day and this could help keep them contained in their own little safe area while you sleep at night or cook a meal or do a chore. I have 4 kids and they are all in bed at night, in their own beds, lights off, door shut and they are all safe, happy and healthy. Sheet vinyl doesn't go all the way to the wall behind the fridge. How to install a new floor?

There's about a foot of what I think is plywood showing at the edge of the vinyl in the entire space the fridge occupies. I think at one time they had a larger fridge and it filled the space such that no one could see the lack of flooring. But how do I even this out to put down a new floor? It's not that the floor itself isn't level, there's one less layer back there. Wouldn't putting ANY type of NEW flooring down without fixing this lead to the whole thing being out of level?

What should I do to make it to State in Cross Country Running & How do I become the fastest girl on the team?

I am going to be a Senior at a new school because my other school shut down. I have already tooken the steps to start training with my new school's cross country team and I've already made friends. The 90 rule for transferring will not apply to me because my school shut down and it wasn't my choice to transfer so I still have a shot at Varsity. Well I am the 2nd fastest girl on the team so far, but is there anything I can do to boost my chances of becoming the fastest girl on the team? Also what are some things I can do to train to make it to State for my Senior year? Any tips? Advice? Ways to prevent injuries? I really want to prove to my new teammates and my new coach, as well as my former teammates and former coach, that I was able to keep my promise to make it to State and be the Top 3 fastest girls on the team. :)

Should I stay in this motel?

Me and my new wife just got married and are going on our honeymoon to a town 35 miles outside Birmingham (she likes Southern people because she thinks they are cute) but we are staying at this motel that charges $27.99 a night and is rated top tier by the county bureau on vacation but all the reviews say bad things like you wont get toilet paper, no clean sheets, bring pepper spray, the a/c does not work unless you pay for the penthouse, nobody has been mugged for weeks, etc. I am second guessing. what do you think? Your short game needs to be incredible and shooting under par in AJGA tournaments and other well know tours. I keep waking up with eye creases?

For the past week or two, I've been waking up with eye creases under my eyes. It is really starting to annoy me because I feel like they're going to stay permanent. My MIL has reached her limit with us?

I love my MIL as a person, but she is terrible with finances, and her kids find themselves picking up most of her bills because of her poor financial planning. Right now, her 4 other kids are really struggling, but my husband and I are doing ok (by ok, I mean we can afford to live comfortably with careful budgeting, but we only make under $40k a year combined, we cannot support his moms bad decisions). Anyways, last winter, the plastic sheet things (you know, those hard, corrugated green sheets) blew off her covered porch that her 4 dogs live under. Her dogs are 100% outside dogs, always have been, they are huge, dirty, smelly, and pretty much untrained. These are not small pampered lap pets, they are just fine out in the elements. Instead of saving up to pay a professional to fix it for years to come, she assumed I would pay for the materials to do a crappy patch job that will probably blow right off again because Im not a carpenter. The monsoons are coming, so she called me up the other day and told me she needed me to come fix it asap. She can't afford the $250 materials I'll need, so guess who gets to pay? I suggested building a small wood shelter for the dogs instead, which would be just as effective and cost only about $50. But no, they have to have a whole covered porch to stay out of the rain. These dogs will be perfectly fine out in the rain come on why should I have to help them out.. If she cant afford them then she should take them to the pound right?

Question about offensive rebounds in the NBA?

I have some doubt when it comes to offensive rebounds in the NBA. I always thought that an offensive rebound was awarded to the player who grabs the ball from the same team, but I have a friend who says that if a player from that team touched the ball (a center or PF who knocks the ball back so a teammate can get it) he gets an offensive rebound. Connecting to a Mysql Database in Dreamweaver CS4?

I have created a sports website using dreamweaver cs4 and as part of the website requirements it must connect to a mysql database. Now I've created the website on my university computers and I can connect the website to the university server, no problem there. I've also created a simple mysql database containing player names, goals scored, appearances etc, quite simple. I have a players page within the website with the php extension 'players.php'. But i'm having difficulty connecting the database to the website. Is there something I'm missing? Should I have some php code within my php file players.php telling DW to connect to the database? So basically, for school we have to make a crime and punishment poster on an A3 sheet. One half has to be a drawing of the crime, with a description. Laminates for Wardrobes?

Can someone tell me how do I know what thickness of laminates is ideal for wardrobes - inside and outside. My carpenter tells me 0.8mm for inside is good as there will be no bubbles formed when gluing the sheet to the board.. but the plywood store man advises 0.7mm is enough for insides.. Should i continue football?

Ok well i played football since the 6th grade. I felt like i had to join. My mom was putting me and my older brother in sports because she didnt want us to be lazy. She put my brother in football because he was having anger problems. He ended up loving football. I was his teams water boy his first year cause i was confused of if i wanted to play or not. The next year i joined because i felt like i had to because of my mom and because of my bro. I wanted to quit but my mom said" If you quit you'll quit everything else you do!" So i stayed. From 6th grade up to 8th i played football in pop warner. All of those years in practiced as hard as i could but my coachs never put me in but sometimes only cause they had to. I went on to High School football my freshman year i tryed hard in practice but i never got a spot. Also it hard for me to learn the plays. Then my sophmore year i played again i keeped got out for football because i thought it was the coachs. But this year my coach from freshmen year didnt coach.we got a new coach, i once again practiced my hardest but didnt get as spot anywhere. Now im going onto varsity football at my High school for my junior and senior year. I dont know if i should play and more. How to score easier in NHL 11?

In NHL 11, every time I play someone, whether its the computer or Xbox LIVE, every time the opposing team approaches my goal to score, there is 3 or 4 players approaching the goal and with that, are able to pass to each other and score easily. When I intercept a pass or get the puck, I approach the goal, but it's only me, and my teammates are slowly skating behind, not being able to pass to. This makes it hard to score. Is there any way to make my teammates follow me, or is it something I'm doing wrong? Help!

Working out is getting boring?

I love exercise and it's always been fun for me during sports because I'd have a routine and I'd have my teammates along with me. Now that it's summer and I'm on my own it's gotten really difficult to make working out fun, now it's kind of like a drag... go to the gym, do the same thing at the gym and go home. It's so boring! I'm pretty short, only 5'3" and 13. I play point and I'm a lefty. I pretty fast but not amazingly explosive. I am decent handles but turn the ball over sometimes.
