If low mileage, then probably the oil has been for too long in the engine. Change oil AND oil filter. Also check if water has entered the diesel tank (if the car does not run frequently, there's condensation risk in diesel tank), you need to clean the tank and put new diesel. And you need to drive at high revs for some time to make sure all condensation in diesel circuit is gone. Good luck.
