How to place images with links ANYWHERE on dreamweaver cs5?

okay, so i've read a lot of tutorials but all of them say the same non-informational bs. i need to place 8 pictures around my center logo that are all linkable. and if i could figure out how to keep the transparency i have from photoshop into DW?
