My dishwasher won't drain?

I took it out and checked the hoses and then took all the parts out of the bottom and cleaned out all the junk stuck there and it still wont drain. Do you think its the motor itself? I dont have a couple of hundred dollars to call a repairman so I thought I'd ask here. Otherwise, its hand washing for me and using the dw as a dryer!!!
