Did DW take a swipe at Earnhardt?

Pre race when he commented about NASCAR's new "have at it" policy, he mentioned the classic Earnhardt move of laying the fender into a driver to spin him out of the way, he called it classless and poor racing. Funny how anytime that move is made old-timers like me think of it as an Earnhardt move, even though DW didn't call any names. Anybody take it as an insult to Earnhardt?
