Heartbeat noise on Mass Effect 2?

I'm close to the end of the game, all i have left to do is help legion and go through the red mass relay. On the loading screen in between playing parts, there is a heartbeat noise. That wasn't there before, and i am wondering if it means anything. I have full Paragon, and the loyalty of all my teammates and i think i upgraded my ship completely.
